Attempting as it may be, it is not advisable to get a friend to draft your Will.  Wills are complicated beasts. Indeed, it is only when a person has died that one finds out what is wrong with it.
 
For example, in one case, a friend did not include an Executor nor did they name some of the beneficiaries when drafting the Will.    This will cost the estate because they will have to prove their relationship with their loved one before they can get their gift.
 
Lastly, if you own property in different countries.  It is better to get advice so that you know what each country’s requirements are when comes to succession laws.
